Astrid is an app used for general public safety and disaster information. Astrid has many simple and unique features. These include locations of nearby disaster shelters in the general vicinity which includes institutions like schools, stadiums, homeless shelters, and universities. It includes information about major natural disasters, information on food recalls, and directions on what to do in the scenario of any major natural disaster. Better yet, this app requires no wifi to view the natural disaster guides, so if you're stuck in a situation with no wifi or power, Astrid has got you covered.
